Gillyflower....
....a plant for which I have always had a soft spot, lol!
Though plant specialists seem to be undecided whether
the name refers to carnations or wallflowers!
There is a story called "The Wizard's Magic Necklace," and it's in The Enid Blyton Book of Fairies. ... and the story explains why wall-flowers are known as Gillie flowers !! Val x
