Lots of storms today, but enough time between the raindrops to walk down to the river and watch the boats.  It was sunny but quite windy so must have been fairly difficult to row upstream.  We live just a few hundred yards from the River Weaver, and can watch the barges and the pleasure cruisers making their way along.
